Apprenticeship Program

Nixon Electrical Service LTD. is highly involved in an apprenticeship program and takes great pride in training high quality electricians and gives them the experience and skills they require to excel and be successful in their field of work. 


Training Requirements: 

To graduate from each level of the apprenticeship program, an apprentice must successfully complete the required technical training and compile enough on-the-job experience to total at least 1800 hours each year. Total trade time required is 7200 hours and at least 4 years in the trade.

There are four levels of technical training delivered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Moose Jaw and by Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Prince Albert:

Level One: 8 weeks 

Level Two: 8 weeks 

Level Three: 9 weeks 

Level Four: 8 weeks
